NBC provides the opportunity to meet the decision-makers in the biogas industry, exchange best practice-information on production, distribution and utilisation of biogas and even bio-fertilizer in the Nordic countries, enhance cooperation and establish new business relationships.
History of NBC
The Tradition of Nordic Biogas Conferences organized in co-operation between the five Nordic countries took its beginning in a very cold Helsinki in Finland in 2006. It developed through Malmö in Sweden in 2008 and Oslo in Norway in 2010. In Copenhagen in Denmark in 2012 we reached to highest number of participants and exhibitors.
Reykjavik in Iceland in 2014 and the maritime version between Stockholm and Vasaa in Finland organized by Finland in 2016 took, however the price for the most spectacular venues. In 2019 we were back in Oslo before the covid-19 interrupted the biannual Nordic conferences. Everybody therefore looks forward to the 2022 Nordic Biogas Conference in Linköping, Sweden.
